nobody knows you the way you know you

sometimes when i’m having a bad day, i remember that everyone i’ve ever known has probably, at some point in their lives, been hit in the face with a basketball

because that is just the most embarrassing thing

admit it, that has happened to you and you are thinking of that time

it has happened to me too

and maybe it was a football, i don’t know, i’ve had both of those things hit my face

but just remember, if anyone ever intimidates you

they were probably having a jolly time on the basketball court and then they tried to make a basket but the ball hit the rim and came right back and boom, basketball to the face, this has been a shared life experience
